Pool Service & Billing Update
First and foremost, this change is NOT a price increase. We are simply changing the way routine chemical costs are billed by averaging those costs throughout the year and incorporating them into your regular service rate.
Over the past 12 months, J.A.C.K. of All Pools has reviewed actual chemical usage and costs across the pools we service. Currently, routine chemicals are billed separately as they are used, which can cause invoices to fluctuate throughout the year. Under the new structure, the average cost of commonly used routine chemicals will be included in your weekly service rate, creating more consistent and predictable billing.
Beginning September 7, 2026, weekly service rates will be based on pool size:
Small Pool – Under 10,000 gallons: $35/week
Medium Pool – 10,001–20,000 gallons: $37/week
Large Pool – Over 20,000 gallons: $40/week
Your weekly service rate includes routine chemicals used during normal pool maintenance, such as:
Muriatic acid (pH decreaser)
Alkalinity increaser
Specialty chemicals and corrective treatments used less frequently are not included in the weekly service rate and will continue to be billed separately on an as-needed basis.
These may include:
Salt or chlorine tablets, depending on your pool's sanitization system
Cyanuric acid (stabilizer/conditioner)
Calcium hardness increaser
Phosphate remover
Clarifier
Leslie's Perfect Weekly
Algae(shock) treatments, stain or metal treatments, and other specialty products when required.
There will be no change to our current billing schedule. Invoices will continue to be sent every two weeks (on Fridays) after service has been performed.
We sincerely appreciate your business and the trust you place in us.
Thank you,
J.A.C.K. of All Pools
Summer Pool Care: What to Expect - July 10, 2026
As we head into the hottest months of the year, we wanted to explain why chemical usage naturally increases during the summer and why you may notice higher chemical charges during this time.
When air temperatures reach the 90s, pool water warms up significantly. Higher water temperatures, intense UV rays, increased swimming, rainstorms, and longer pump run times all cause chlorine and other balancing chemicals to be consumed much faster than they are during the cooler months.
Summer also brings increased evaporation. Many pools can lose several inches of water each week, especially when a spillover, water feature, or fountain runs frequently. As your auto-fill or hose replaces that water, the fresh water dilutes your pool’s chemistry, meaning additional chemicals are needed to restore proper sanitizer and water balance.
This is a completely normal part of owning a pool during the summer.
At J.A.C.K. of All Pools, we believe in charging fairly and transparently. Instead of charging the same high monthly chemical fee all year long, we only bill for the chemicals your pool actually requires.
That means:
During the summer, your pool may require more chemicals to maintain safe, crystal-clear water.
During the cooler months, your pool typically requires much less, so your chemical costs naturally decrease.
Many pool companies build peak summer chemical costs into a flat monthly price, which means customers often pay the same amount even when their pools require very little. We take a different approach. By charging only for the chemicals your pool actually needs, you receive the best value throughout the year and not just during one season.
And just so you know… we probably spend more time thinking about your pool than you do. We notice the weather forecast, we keep an eye on heat waves and rainstorms, and we’ve been known to wake up wondering if someone’s chlorine held after yesterday’s thunderstorm. (The family can confirm.) So if it seems like we are a little obsessed with keeping your pool perfect… you’re not wrong.
Thank you for trusting J.A.C.K. of All Pools. We pride ourselves on being transparent, responsive, professional, and always available to answer your questions or concerns. Our goal is simple: provide exceptional service, honest communication, and keep your pool looking its absolute best all year long.
Have a wonderful summer, and thank you for letting us take care of your backyard oasis!
